Add and remove services
Show off all that you can help with.
To help you find as many customers as possible, HomeGuide lets you add more than one service to your profile.
When a customer sees your profile, they can see your hiring information and reviews for all the services you offer in one place.
If you showcase all the services you offer, you have a higher possibility of getting jobs.
Adding a service
- Log into your account
- Click Services in the left navigation panel
- Select the Add service button on the page
- Type the service you would like to add in the search bar
- If you don't see your specific service listed, it is not offer it at the time.
- Select your service from the list
- Click Next
Once you have selected the service you would like to add, the website will guide you through adding your targeting preferences for that service.
Removing a service
If you no longer offer a service you can remove it from your profile at any time.
- Log into your account
- Click Services in the left navigation panel
- Click the service you would like to remove
- Click Remove this service
- If you are sure about removing a service, click the red Remove service button.
You can always re-add the service if you decide to start offering it again. Any data you preferences you had in place for that service will be restored re-add the service to your account.
Tips
- New services added are set up with the preferences you have previously chosen. If you would it to work differently you will have to go in and make those specific changes.
- If there are services you would like to keep separate from your existing profile, you can simply create a new business to keep those services independent.
